Michelle is a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW), Certified Clinical Traumatologist, and Certified Trauma & Resilience Practitioner with more than 14 years of experience supporting teens and adults through life's challenges. She is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop effective coping skills, and achieve lasting emotional wellness.
Michelle specializes in working with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, and the conflict that comes with separation and divorce. She provides a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can safely explore their experiences, gain insight, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change.
Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Michelle draws from evidence-based approaches, including:
Michelle has extensive experience working in community mental health and hospital-based child and youth mental health programs, supporting individuals and families facing complex mental health challenges. Her diverse professional experience also includes working with families experiencing separation and divorce and navigating the family court system.
Michelle holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and is a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (Registration #820526). She is also a Certified Clinical Traumatologist (TITC-CT) and Certified Trauma & Resilience Practitioner (CTRP-Clinical). Michelle remains committed to ongoing professional development to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.
