Sara is a Registered Psychotherapist with more than 12 years of experience providing trauma-informed therapy to teens, young adults, parents, and families. She is passionate about helping clients overcome challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
Sara specializes in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, family conflict, parenting challenges, emotional regulation concerns, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. She provides a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.
Using a person-centred and strengths-based approach, Sara tailors therapy to each client's unique needs and goals. She draws from evidence-based approaches, including:
Sara helps individuals improve communication, navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and strengthen connections. She also supports parents and families in developing healthy relationships and effective strategies for managing challenges at home.
Sara holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MA) and is a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (Registration #13506). She also holds a Child and Youth Worker (CYW) Diploma and is committed to ongoing professional development to provide the highest quality care to her clients.
