As a Registered Social Worker, Clinical Traumatologist & Trauma Practitioner, Michelle specializes in providing supportive counselling, therapy and coaching to teens/young adults, individuals, and their families. Michelle's background has been primarily working in Community Mental Health Organizations with children, youth, adults, and families and most recently in a hospital environment with an adolescent population. In addition to this, Michelle has had the opportunity to work overseas and experience working with people from all backgrounds and cultures in various environments.
Michelle is passionate about helping individuals find emotional wellness through support, planning, and developing practical strategies. Working from a trauma-informed and attachment lens Michelle also specializes in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindset Coaching. Michelle believes that individuals can learn the strategies necessary to work through challenges, develop their emotion management skills and work on effective strategies to manage their daily activities for solutions that will carry through to all aspects of their lives.
Michelle holds a Master of Social Work degree and is a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (Reg. No: 820526) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (Reg. No. 14123). Michelle is a Certified Clinical Traumatologist (TITC-CT) and a Certified Trauma & Resilience Practitioner (CTRP) - Clinical providing care for individuals who have experienced trauma or who have been diagnosed with PTSD. Michelle has received extensive training in various evidence-based therapeutic practices and is active in gaining further education and training to ensure the best care for her clients. Michelle has had the opportunity to do several presentations on Children's Mental Health and contribute to feature articles on mental health, substance abuse and available community resources.

Vanessa is a Registered Social Worker and Clinical Traumatologist specializing in supporting children & teens (ages 10+), individuals and their families. Vanessa also provides coaching to support parents of children under age 10 to help them work towards balance and mental wellness. Vanessa has experience working with children, youth, adults, and families in various community agencies and a hospital setting, including the children's mental health and children's wellness field.
Vanessa provides compassionate care to all individuals she works with and is passionate about welcoming everyone into an empathetic and non-judgmental environment. Vanessa focuses on working from a trauma-informed lens while using a strengths-based therapeutic approach. She specializes in the evidence-based practices of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy and Positive Parent Coaching. Vanessa works to integrate various treatment modalities to ensure clients can build on the skills and strengths they already have and improve their overall quality of life.

Vanessa has received many additional trainings on various mental health concerns and how to manage them, has learned about the most up-to-date treatment options for issues that affect children today and is always seeking to learn new ways to provide her clients with the best care possible.
